Tony has had many years experience in Education and Care, in both Primary & Secondary MLD/SLD/PMLD/SEBD service settings and Adults with disabilities. He has an understanding of the difficulties presented in a range of settings &, from this, has developed a pragmatic approach to solutions.

Since 2000 Tony has been heavily involved with the Team–Teach Approach (BILD Accredited) & is one of their Principal Tutors.

His approachable, professional, straight talking style, has been appreciated by a huge volume of fellow professionals throughout the UK.

Tony´s training packages can be bespoke & include any or all from: preventive measures, risk assessments, de–escalation strategies, documentation or physical interventions – delivered to anything between Nursery to Adult settings; from Policy advice to Local Authorities & H&S, to practical support for drivers & escorts who transport young people.

As part of this continuum of ideas & support, Tony has also developed a safe room (Rest, Recovery & Re–Orientation Room) for young people who have temporarily lost control & need to be kept safe.

Tony is striving to provide an environment which is as safe as possible for staff & young people.
